Organizations “have to” do something about it, but this usually only happens when the urgency is high, for example due to increasing absenteeism or high turnover. I often heard “things are not going well with the team”. Signals of this are recognizable when employees express feelings such as:
Not feeling safe at work
Too high workload
Burn-out complaints
Lack of appreciation
Stagnant growth/development
Bore out (boredom)
Costs
These signals not only show that there is room to improve the well-being of your employees. This will also be directly related to increasing absenteeism, higher turnover, lower motivation, lower quality of work and decreasing effectiveness. This results in increasing costs, such as recruitment costs but also absenteeism costs (1 employee with a burn-out costs an average of between €60,000 and €90,000 per case).
And then I haven't even mentioned the costs that fall in between. The individual initiatives that are used to do "something" about wellbeing: a core values brainstorming session, an inclusion & diversity workshop, the fruit bowl, the sports subscription for the entire company, the bicycle plan, the annual MTO and maybe even organize that ice bath training?
These are all wonderful initiatives but incidental, preventive or curative. Band-aids that you stick on, without really investigating the underlying cause or precisely outcomes that are not followed up. Lack of support, leadership and measurability ensure that the effect on the total wellbeing of your entire organization remains small. The MTO report disappears into the cupboard (until next year). In that same cupboard disappears the workbook of the diversity workshop and beautiful core values from the retreat. The sports subscription is only used by employees who are naturally concerned with health, just like your bicycle plan and fruit basket.

Wellbeing is individual, everyone has a different current situation. Based on that, you can determine what the desired improvement is and which route suits you? This also applies to the organization as a whole, after all, the cumulative of all individuals. Where optimization lies in the management and cooperation of the whole.
Change is difficult, our primal brain simply doesn't feel like it, so you have to make it fun . In addition, well-being is a vague term for many: how can we make this tangible, even measurable . So that we can put well-being on the agenda, just like any other goal. Well, but who should complete that task, everyone is too busy already. Well, we will solve it for you . Next 3 phases:

In about 3 months we will determine the starting point, of the organization and the individual. What is the current situation? You can have an idea of your final destination, say Paris. But you can only calculate the route there if you know where you are starting from: New York or Amsterdam differ quite a bit.
By means of individual online assessments and qualitative research we expose the pain points. We also determine the stakeholders to create support. Based on the results, we design the route and first final destination together.
We're off! In 12 weeks, the entire company will take on the challenge of individual improvement. If you feel better, you will also perform better. For this, we work together with the Greenhabit wellbeing app, where every employee receives personal challenges and content for his/her goal. This is in the form of a game where we can share our progress with each other and earn points.
Managers will gain insight into the wellbeing assessment and engagement dashboard. They will also learn how to deal with this during expert leadership sessions. The whole will be supplemented with 1-on-1 coaching and participation in the masterclass YAY it's Monday!
The first steps towards change have been taken and now we are going to hold on. Wellbeing will become a fixed KPI and every quarter Field of Faith will come by to discuss the figures with advice for the necessary customized intervention. We keep it on the agenda, we prepare ourselves, challenge you, give advice and facilitate any necessary intervention.
In the meantime, every employee can make unlimited use of the Greenhabit app for new challenges or to read back content. The online assessments will also be sent out quarterly.
